Dozens of cats rescued from a home in Mojave are now almost ready to be adopted.

PREVIOUS STORY-  Two weeks after over 100 animals seized from Mojave home, no timetable for when they can be adopted

On Friday,The Stray Cat Alliance of LA came to Bakersfield to pick up 35 of the cats from the Kern County Animal Control.

Two weeks ago, more than 100 cats and a handful of other animals were seized from a Mojave residence two weeks ago,

The animals were taken from the Oasis Feral Cat Sanctuary due to unsanitary living conditions.

Roger Mortimer, the owner of the place is now facing a felony animal cruelty charge.
