Have a Heart Humane Society is hosting the Gone to the Dogs 5K Fun Run Saturday in Tehachapi. 

Registration is $30 and begins at 8 a.m. at Warrior Park in Tehachapi. 

The event is a run or walk canine event and is not timed. 

Following the 5K the Pet Festival will kick off. The Pet Festival is free to attend. It will include dog rescues, vendors, dog games, kid games, dog sporting demonstrations, a dog contest and a silent auction. 

The first 100 registrants will received a "wag bag" and t-shirt. 

23ABC's Chief Meteorologist Elaina Rusk will be emceeing the event. 

All proceeds will benefit the Have a Heart Humane Society.
