Students at Haven Drive Middle School in Arvin were surprised with a special delivery of school supplies from representatives from Chevron and Arvin Union School District officials today.

The materials included a model of the human brain and friction blocks, Digital Drawing Tables and materials for the school's theatrical production.

The delivery was part of Chevron's Fuel Your School program in collaboration with Donors Choose, an online charity to support K-12 teachers by helping fund classroom materials at public schools in Kern County.

“Fuel Your School is such an impactful program, especially in Kern County," Adam Alvidrez, Chevron Community Engagement Advisor said. "Teachers work day in and day out to inspire a lifelong passion for learning in their students, and Chevron is proud to make funding available to help bring exciting and rewarding classroom materials to teachers and students in Kern County.”
