BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Local health officials and law enforcement want to remind the public about the Smart911 services that are available. Officials say they can be especially useful for first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Smart911 is a free national safety profile registry that will provide 911 and first responders critical medical information about you and your family.

When a person calls 911, their Smart911 safety profile is automatically displayed, allowing their public safety agencies to send emergency response teams to the right location with enhanced medical data.
