A health and resource fair is happening in southwest Bakersfield Saturday.
There will be a food giveaway, free blood pressure screenings, glucose tests, and a dentist on site.
The Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) will be giving away food to 300 families in need.
CAPK will only be distributing food from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. or until supplies last.
The health fair will start at 10 a.m. and last until 3 p.m.
The event is happening at 5614 Woodmere Drive in Bakersfield.
The health fair is being organized by Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal.
