23ABC is getting reports of heavy presence of Kern County Sheriff's deputies at a home in Southwest Bakersfield.
Deputies had closed off a section of the 4200 block of Rosewall Street, near Gosford Road.
Neighbors tell 23ABC that deputies arrived to the home with guns drawn at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Deputies asked a number of people to surrender and come out of the house.
Witnesses said about 8 people came out of the home and were detained.
They said the group included adults and children.
Officials have not released any information yet.
