The Bakersfield Police Department says a man was found shot to death in Central Bakersfield on Sunday night.
On Tuesday, the Kern County Coroner's Office identified the man as 28-year-old Ignacio Trejo.
BPD said they were called to assist the Bakersfield Fire Department, who responded to a scene in the area of 3rd and Eye streets at about 11:40 p.m. Sunday.
When BPD arrived, they found Trejo shot multiple times in an alley in the area. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
BPD said no arrests have been made.
