The high temps this week, hitting over 110 degrees has led to the cancelation of a summer staple.

The 'Concert by the Fountain' at the Marketplace has canceled this week's performance. Chesterfield King was scheduled to play at 7 p.m. Thursday, but due to high temperatures the show has been postponed. Chesterfield King features 23ABC's Mike Hart. 

It's believed to be the first time in the 21-year history of the concert series that a show has been canceled.
