High winds have caused power lines to be knocked down in Eastern Kern County, leading to closures of highways on Monday morning.
According to California City Police, the downed power lines have caused the closure of Southbound Highway 14 at Highway 58 in Mojave.
No detours are in place.
The California Highway Patrol expects the highways to be fully open by 5 a.m.
