Students at Highland High School continue to mourn the loss of 14-year-old freshman Anneliese White, who was hit and killed in Northeast Bakersfield.
The freshman was just beginning her high school career at Highland after attending Chipman Junior High.
According to police, the teen was not inside the crosswalk when she was hit by a pick-up truck Monday night. The driver is not expected to face charges.
