Highway 166 is shut down due to downed power lines.
According to the California Highway Patrol's Buttonwillow office the 166 is closed for westbound traffic at Stubblefield Road and for eastbound traffic east of Highway 101.

The CHP's Buttonwillow office tweeted that it hoped to have the road reopened by 10:30 a.m.
