BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to honor local leaders this weekend at the annual installation and business awards gala.

The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 2 at the Bakersfield Marriott and will honor several businesses and leaders. Some of the awards that will be presented include Businesswoman of The Year, Business Man of the Year and Community Service Award.

“This is one of the most exciting times of the year for the Hispanic Chamber because we honor local individuals and business who pour their heart and soul into our community in so many ways,” said Jay Tamsi, president/CEO of the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “They are so deserving of recognition, and I am just amazed and thankful by how much they continually support our chamber."

The Hispanic Chamber will also be introducing its new group of directors.
