The Kern County Veterans Department will be unveiling the newest historical Armed Forces uniform display on Wednesday.
The unveiling will happen at the department at 1120 Golden State Avenue at 2:00 p.m. The glass-encased kiosk holds 8 uniforms that have been donated by veterans, their families and local veteran organizations.
The uniforms will represent wards from the Revolutionary War through World War II, Korea, Vietnam and Iraq. One particular uniform was donated by the Sons of the American Revolution and is a replica of a Continental Army officer's uniform used in the movie, "The Patriot."
The unveiling is open to the public.
