Last night's 88th Academy Awards brought surprises and some arguable upsets.
Mad Max: Fury Road swept in nearly every production category. The action thriller took him six wins, including costume and production design.
Brie Larson, who has swept in the leading actress category all awards season, topped it off with Oscars gold.
Fan favorite 'The Revenant,' scored 12 nominations from The Academy, and took home the gold in 3 categories. This includes Best Director, Cinematography and the most anticipated award of the night, Best Actor in a Leading Role.
Leonardo DiCaprio finally took home the Oscar after being snubbed by The Academy five times in years past.
'Spotlight,' took home best picture, which some are calling an upset.
Meanwhile, 'Brooklyn,' and 'The Martian,' went home empty-handed.
