For the second time in less than four hours a home on McCord Avenue in Oildale went up in flames on Tuesday morning.
Kern County Fire crews were dispatched to the area of McCord between Oildale Drive and Plymouth Avenue just before 4 a.m.
This fire came about four hours after a blaze was reported on McCord and North Chester Avenue just after midnight.
