Bakersfield Police say a man is facing drug and gun charges after serving a search warrant at his home in East Bakersfield Thursday night. 

They say 30-year-old Michael Carpenter was found to have at least five guns and several rounds of ammunition at the home on Quincy Street near Palm Drive. He now faces charges for illegally possessing those weapons and allegedly selling narcotics. 

Carpenter is Due in court Monday May 7. His bail was set at more than $92,000.
