Hometown Buffet in South Bakersfield reopens

Hometown Buffet, located in the 4200 block of H Street was reopened after it was closed briefly on Friday due to health violations.

Officials with the Kern County Department of Public Health said they closed the restaurant for a brief time due to several health violations including Sewage overflow and Cold holding of potentially hazardous food.

Officials told 23ABC the restaurant was reopened on Friday night.
