BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — There’s a huge welcome home party planned for the crew from Honor Flight #39 this Thursday.
According to a news release, the great people at Garces High School will be hosting the public event in the school’s cafeteria at 6 p.m..
Organizers say that everyone is encouraged to come and bring decorated “welcome home” signs and posters to make their homecoming very special!
The 54 local Vietnam veterans took off this morning for their D.C. visit.
