Houchin Community Blood Bank is asking individuals to donate blood on St. Patrick’s Day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. as part of the Granite Construction Pot o’ Gold Blood Drive.
At both donor centers, donors can select a lucky leprechaun duck. These are coded for prizes including lottery tickets, candy bars and food coupons.
One lucky donor at each center will win a $50 bill.
The two centers are located at 5901 Truxtun Avenue and 11515 Bolthouse Drive.
