BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Houchin Community Blood Bank is asking for blood donors after they say their blood supply is "critically low."
The blood bank says many of their regular donors weren't able to donate this week due to the cold and flu. The blood bank is asking for healthy donors, especially those with O-, O+, and B+ blood, to help "refill our shelves."
Houchin Community Blood Bank will be offering vintage t-shirts tomorrow for a limited time to donors.

The blood bank is open from 11a.m. to 7 p.m. Walk-ins are are welcome. Donors can also make an appointment by calling make 661.323.4222 or going online.
