Updated: 3:00am -- KCFD says the fire happened just before 2:00am. Kern County Fire says that one person was inside the home but ran away. They are still looking for that person.
Neighbors tell county fire he lived in the house and they believe he suffered burns.
But that remains unclear. Kern County Fire says the house is a complete loss and the fire spread quicky because it was an older home.

Kern County Firefighters are investigating a house fire that broke out early this morning near Descanso Street in East Bakersfield.
The fire broke around 2:00am. KCFD believes that one person was inside home but ran away. Officials are not considering this fire suspicious.
