UPDATE (November 23, 2017 12:30 p.m.): Firefighters arrived on scene of a burning double wide trailer home in Tupman around 10:40 a.m.
There was no one home at the time of the fire, however two adults and one child do live in the trailer according to the Kern County Fire Department.
A neighbor did try to extinguish the fire, and as a result received a minor injury burn, which was treated at the scene.
The trailer is a total loss, according to Kern County Fire Department.
