After years of drought conditions and dry riverbeds, California is finally getting some water.

Its a bill many farmers have been waiting years to hear and today it's  been approvedw

With water difficult to find in the Central Valley during this drought news from Washington D.C. today had many here celebrating.

The bill setting aside 558 million dollars for recycling, storage projects and much more that will be able to capture more storm water - rather than sending it out to sea.

A water bill that has been long debated, clearing major hurtles in the house met with praise from many local farmers in Bakersfield.

Kevin McCarthy says this bill means we can finally eliminate water going to the ocean and now push at a higher level through the delta and bring that water through the valley.
