MOJAVE, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating after human remains were found north of Mojave.
According to KCSO, around 2:38 p.m. on June 12, deputies were called out for a report of possible human remains at Cache Creek Road and Highway 58.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and confirmed the remains found were human.
KCSO says the identity will be released by the Kern County Coroner's Office.
