Human remains found in an Idaho state park are believed to be of a missing Bakersfield woman last seen in 2015.
Local county sheriffs believe they located the remains of Jacquelyn D. Grider, who went missing on June 1, 2015.
On Sunday, Kootenai County deputies responded to an area regarding possible human remains discovered by a man walking his dog.
The remains were found two miles from where Grider was last seen.
Based on several items located with the remains, investigators believe there is a strong chance that the remains discovered are those of Grider.
Grider spent her summers near Heyburn State Park with her husband.
She was in the early stages of dementia.
