Bike Bakersfield held their annual Holiday Lights Ride fon Thursday in southwest Bakersfield.
The night attracts hundreds of locals to the Haggin Oaks neighborhood to check out decorated homes. Some decorated bikes nearly as elaborately as the homes in the area.
Thursday night was the second Holiday Lights Ride for Jonathan and Zachary Vegas. The two went all out and built a bike version of Santa's sleigh, which was one of the most elaborate rides for the event.
"I actually built the trailer myself and I pieced everything together here," Vegas said.
The father and son duo biked to Haggin Oaks in southwest Bakersfield all the way from downtown, kicking off the holidays by enjoying what the season has to offer.
"It's just all about looking at the Christmas lights with family," Vegas said.
