Two lanes on northbound I-5 near McBean Parkway are blocked due to a diesel big rig going over the side of the road a little after 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.
The two lanes will be blocked until midnight near Santa Clarita, causing heaving northbound delays. Around 5:30 p.m. traffic was backed up to Castaic southbound.

The vehicle was on its side and leaking liquid.
