With Kern County's unemployment rate sitting at 17.5 percent for the month of June, thousands locally will be looking to get back in the workforce.

Some good news as Volt Workforce Solutions is looking to place workers in jobs with the IKEA distribution center in Lebec.

Positions that are currently sought are: forklift operator, pallet jack operator and walkie operator.

Salaries range between $15-$18 an hour.
