BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Inaugural Bakersfield Donut Run has been moved a day later to Sunday, March 10!

There's two events in this run, the 5K run and the 2K walk, both of which cost $35 to register. For kids 9 years and younger, they can enter the race for $25.

The run will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 at the Park at Riverwalk, all participants receive a doughnut themed shirt, custom doughnut finishers medal, coffee and doughnuts.

Donations from the event will go to the Active Bakersfield Alliance, which supports athletic scholarships for outstanding student-athletes.

Participants can pickup their packet on Friday, March 8 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Sole 2 Soul in Southwest Bakersfield.
