The president of the International Olympic Committee is in Los Angeles this morning, visiting proposed venues for the 2024 games.
The committee says that they will visit the Getty Center, University of Southern California and UCLA campuses.
Officials are also scheduled to meet local boosters, including Mayor Garcetti, Magic Johnson and several American Olympic medalists.
Yesterday they checked out Staples Center and watched the Los Angeles Lakers play.
Los Angeles hosted the Olympics in 1932 and 1984.
