Winds are high in parts of Kern County. CHP is warning all drivers on the road to be cautious. Big rigs, RV's and cars being towed are advised to stay off the road. Smaller cars driving around these bigger vehicles should drive with caution in case the big cars tip over.
Wind energy companies say they are welcoming the high winds. One company says they are making three times more energy with these high winds than they usually would.
