Today, the community gathered together to help Jackson Stables to rebuild after the devastating fire that burned their property to the ground yesterday. 

Their family lost their home, stables and cars and unfortunately five horses did die.

Thankfully no one was injured.

A fire broke out in Oildale yesterday near Riverview Park and the blaze spread quickly into the neighborhood due to high, dry winds. 

A friend of the Jackson’s, Kimberly Hill said, "Everybody is chipping in to help the family. People are coming by and asking to bring in water and food, whatever is needed.”

The family has started a GoFundMe asking for donations to help rebuild their stables.
