BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Jersey Mike's Sub store located off Hageman and Coffee Road will hold a fundraiser on Tuesday, July 2 for the late David Marcus between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. According to the sub store's flyer, 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the Marcus family.
David Marcus, the Bakersfield native who fought successfully several times against cancer, passed away on Friday, June 28 according to a family posting on his Facebook page.
His funeral is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6th at Valley Bible Fellowship.
