Job Fest Kern County will have more than 40 employers at its first-ever hiring event in Tehachapi

TEHACHAPI, Calif. — If you're looking to land a job, Job Fest Kern County is hosting its first-ever hiring event in Tehachapi today.

Job seekers can stop by the hiring event from 9 a.m. and until noon at Monroe High School's gym.

More than 40 employers from Tehachapi, Bakersfield, Mojave, and Antelope Valley will be at the hiring event.

The employers that are expected to recruit today are Interim Healthcare, Kern Community College District and Bear Valley Springs Association.

Josh Conner, a job developer with Job Fest Kern County, recommends job seekers to bring at least 50 copies of your resume, dress professionally and do not forget to smile at the hiring event.

Job Fest Kern County's next hiring event will take place in Wasco on October 17th.
