A JobFest event will be held Thursday at Rabobank as part of the 2017 JobFest Series.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at The Rabobank Convention Center at 1001 Truxtun Ave.

The Kern County Department of Human Services puts on the JobFest Series, bringing employment opportunities to every region of Kern County.

With Kern County's overall unemployment rate at 10.3% the JobFest series is just one way DHS is working to improve the lives of children and families in our communities.

Job seekers should come to JobFest dressed for success with at least 20 copies of their resume or Master Application.
