A JobFest was held in Lamont Thursday morning at the David Head Center.
The event is part of the JobFest Series, aimed at bringing employment opportunities to every region of Kern County.
The county’s unemployment rate is 10.3%. Lamont’s current unemployment rate is 6.6%
