A joint public memorial service is scheduled for Friday morning for fallen Porterville Fire Department Captain Ramon Figueroa and firefighter Patrick Jones.
The two were killed in the line of duty battling a fire at the Porterville Library.
Services will be held at Porterville Church of the Nazarene at 2005 W. Olive Avenue in Porterville. Services are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
Those who can't make the service can watch the service at Landmark Christian Center at Westwood Street and Olive Avenue in Porterville and at Galaxy Theater at 631 N. Indiana Street.
There will be a reception at the Porterville fairgrounds following services.
