UPDATE (October 26, 2017 8:44 a.m.): The sentencing of Jonathan Hearn has been pushed back to November 3, 2017.

========

Less than a month since a jury found Sabrina Limon guilty in the murder of her husband Robert, Jonathan Hearn will receive his formal sentence.

He is expected to appear in court in downtown Bakersfield on Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

In exchange for testifying against Sabrina, Hearn agreed to serve 25 years in prison. During Sabrina Limon's trial Hearn testified that the two plotted Robert's death in 2014.

He said that initially the plan was to give banana pudding and nila wafers laced with arsenic to Robert to kill him. The two backed out of the plan, however, according to Hearn's testimony.

Hearn eventually gunned down Robert at his job at Rail Yard in Tehachapi.
