FRESNO, Calif. — David Turner, who is reportedly Josh Turner's sound engineer has been identified as the one person killed in the deadly tour bus crash.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, David Turner was one of the passenger's on the bus when it crashed just east of McMillan Canyon Road late Wednesday night. Josh Turner was not on the tour bus at the time it crashed.

Officials said that around 11:40 p.m. the driver of the bus, identified as Bradley Dratnol, was going eastbound on highway 46 before for he "allowed the bus to leave the roadway" for unknown reasons.

The bus reportedly continued to travel along the shoulder of the highway into a barbed wire fence and field for about 200 yards before driving off a 50 foot cliff, according to CHP. Officials said two people were ejected from the bus, one of them being David Turner who died from his injuries. Seven other people on the bus sustained moderate to severe injuries and have been taken to nearby hospitals.

According to David Turner's LinkedIn page, he has worked as a monitor engineer for Josh Turner Enterprises since 2006. David Turner was reportedly not related to Josh.

CHP has confirmed that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
