A gag order has been issued in the case involving Kern County Supervisor Leticia Perez.

The gag order was issued Friday morning in Kern County Superior Court. 

On Tuesday,  Kern County District Attorney Lisa Greene said Perez would be facing two criminal charges connected to a conflict of interested tied to Perez's connection to the marijuana industry.

Perez is scheduled to be back in court on Oct. 5.
