Kaiser Permanente is partnering with several other organizations to help promote the awareness of domestic violence prevention programs as well as other resources that are available in Kern County.

There will be a family resource fair at the Haggin Oaks farmers market to help expose the public to some of these programs on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to the Domestic Violence Resource Center one in every four women are affected by domestic violence at some point in their lifetime. Females between the ages of 20 and 24 are the most affected by domestic violence .
