Kaiser Permanente,The Hens Roost announce 'Farm to Frontline'

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Tuesday Kaiser Permanente and The Hens Roost announced Farm to Frontline, connecting healthy produce to healthcare workers on the frontline of fighting COVID 19.

As a response to COVID -19 Kaiser made the decision to transition local farmers markets to an online Virtual Farmers Market platform to continue to bring the highest quality of farm fresh produce and other food products to the Kern County community.

They have added a second location to the pick up schedule starting on April 29 from 1 to 6 p.m. at 2531 Chester Avenue, behind the Kaiser Permanente Chester Avenue Medical Office Building.

Ordering will open on Thursday and close on Saturday for pick up on April 29.

This location will be open to the public.
