BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Ready to become a fur mom or dad? Ahead of the 4th of July, Kern County Animal Services will be offering fee-waived adoptions on dogs and cats!

KCAS says on June 29 and July 1 through 3 they will waive adoption fees for those interested.

They're hoping the complimentary waiver will help free up kennel space for the expected influx of lost and frightened animals during the fireworks season.
