At 4:26 a.m., dispatchers received multiple reports of a structure fire in a mobile home park. A reinforced alarm was dispatched.
Firefighters on scene reported that a single-wide mobile home was fully involved and threatening nearby residences. Firefighters attacked the fire and protected adjacent structures.
Fortunately all five occupants made it out of the structure. One person suffered injuries from heat and smoke inhalation and was treated on scene and refused transport to the hospital.
Unfortunately four dogs died in the fire. Firefighters were able to save nearby structures—they sustained minor damage to the exterior.
The involved structure is a complete loss. Red Cross provided aid to three displaced residents.
Firefighters determined that the cause of the fire was either an electrical outlet or a window-mounted air conditioning unit. There were no injuries to firefighters.
