After falling 30 feet while fighting the Plegio Fire on Tuesday, July 24, the KCFD Firefighter that was airlifted to Kern Medical Center suffered a complete fracture to the forearm, fractured his back and has several disk herniations, according to a tweet from the Kern County Firefighters 1301.
Surgery for his arm is scheduled for tomorrow.
Kern County Firefighters 1301 tweeted an image of the location where their fellow firefighter fell. They asked for people to keep him in their thoughts and prayers.
