FRAZIER PARK, Calif. — Firefighters with the Kern County Fire Department battled 19 degree weather in order to put out a house fire in Frazier Park Friday night.

Around 9:58 p.m. on Friday, February 22, the KCFD Emergency Communication Center received multiple calls regarding a house on fire. Firefighters were dispatched to the intersection of Mead Trail and Elliot Trail in Frazier Park and encountered a two-story house on fire with flames visible on both floors.

KCFD says firefighters used forcible entry to gain access to the home through a locked gate. KCFD says they were able to quickly knockdown the fire and search the home for occupants.

No civilians or firefighters were injuried. KCFD says firefighters battled 19 degree weather, snowy/icy narrow roads, and other safety hazards while working to put out the fire.
