BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Fire Department is reporting a grass fire in East Bakersfield.

According to officials, the department along with Bakersfield Fire and CHP is working to contain the fire located on Mills Drive and Breckenridge Road.

KCFD says the fire poses a potential threat to surrounding vehicles and buildings.
