Kern County Fire crews are holding an event in Lamont on Friday where community members can learn about emergency preparedness.

KCFD is holding "Brew With Fire Crew" at Station 51 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

The public is invited to join KCFD for coffee and conversation about emergency preparedness. Senator Andy Vidak will also be there.

KCFD Station 51 is located at 8225 McKee Road in Lamont.
