Kern County Fire crews are investigating a fire that broke out at a Taft home Thursday morning.
KCFD received calls about smoke and flames coming from a house on Polk Street near Grevillea Street around 6 a.m.
Crews were able to put the fire out of the abandoned home quickly.
No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
