The Kern County Fire Department is investigating a fire in Oildale. The fire happened just after midnight in the area of McCord Avenue and North Chester Avenue. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is assisting KCFD in the investigation.
According to a witness, they saw a man trimming a tree and then ran into a house and all of a sudden it went up in smoke. Plus, witnesses say the house was also abandoned.
